Who is behind “The Innkeepers”?

“The Innkeepers” was written by Satina Tolman. She also added music composed by, Sally DeFord, who grew up in Sweet Home. Satina directed and produced the show in December 2023 to rousing support from the local community. In 2024, Satina and her husband, Nathan, joined the Board of Directors of SHOCASE, and “The Innkeepers” became an annual event produced by SHOCASE and directed by Satina.

Can I be a part of “The Innkeepers”?

We welcome volunteers and hold auditions each year for all the performing parts. Make sure to follow SHOCASE on Facebook to see the announcements of when we are holding auditions. They are usually around the end of the Summer.

Is this a fundraiser?

“The Innkeepers” is a free gift to the community supported by sponsorships from generous local businesses. However, there will be a table in the foyer where the Sweet Home High School Band Program will sell candy bars to raise money to support their program. Also, Satina Tolman’s book, “The Innkeeper’s Wife”, will be available for purchase in the Foyer, and some of the proceeds from each sale will also go to support the band program .
